Hello everyone!
A friend from curling recently passed along a pair of end tables that had definitely seen better days. I’ll be honest—I was stumped at first on what direction to take with them. After sitting with a few ideas, I landed on a soft sage green paired with a beautiful coordinating wallpaper print, and I’m so glad I did!

Before the Makeover
These tables were dated and a little rough around the edges, but they had great potential and solid structure—perfect candidates for a quick flip.

Materials Used
-
Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint in Celtic Fog
-
Dixie Belle Antiquing Glaze
-
Pretty botanical wallpaper (Amazon find!)
The Process
I started with a thorough cleaning—first with soap and water, followed by TSP to remove any remaining residue. Once they were fully dry, I went straight into painting with the Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint in Celtic Fog. It covered beautifully!

To add a little charm and visual interest, I applied the wallpaper to the inside of the doors. It’s such a simple detail, but it completely transformed the interior and tied the look together. Once the hardware was reattached, they were already looking stunning.
For the finishing touch, I applied an antiquing glaze over the entire piece, adding depth and a lightly aged, soft vintage look. And just like that—voilà! A quick one-day flip with a big payoff.
After the Makeover
Here are the final results—fresh, elegant, and full of character!

I listed them on Facebook Marketplace, and they sold within a couple of weeks!
